Patrick free for National despite ban
PATRICK MULLINS will be free to ride on Grand National day despite receiving an eight-day whip ban yesterday thanks to his amateur status.
Last year’s winning jockey breached the guidelines when going one over the permitted level of eight when finishing second on Road To Home in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham last week.
