What drew you to Daniel? It's interesting when characters break away from their mould. He's grown up with a privileged life, but he's drawn to Cherry who's had a different upbringing. Since his sister's death, his relationship with (mum) Laura has become an unusual one. In some ways, it hasn't evolved since he was a baby. These two women both bring out something different in him.
