ONE of Scotland's busiest shopping centres had to be evacuated after heavy rain and hail caused flash flooding.
Shoppers were told to leave Dundee's Overgate Centre after water started pouring into the building at about 4pm yesterday.
Large hailstones, some the size of £1 coins, fell in a burst of bizarre weather over the city.
The downpour also caused flooding at Dundee Railway Station, on West Marketgait near the sheriff court and around the V&A Museum.
