Lollipop man banned from high-fiving crossing kids

PARENTS have rallied behind lollipop man Neil Cotton after he was ordered to stop high-fiving their kids.
Neil, 57, patrols at a busy junction in Howden, near Hull, for primary and secondary pupils.
He says he has been told he can “no longer high-five” the youngsters because “it upsets some drivers having to wait another 10 seconds”.
Neil said: “I do the job for the kids. I love bringing them a little bit of joy and brightening up their day.
“I have support from a lot of locals - their kids all love a high-five.
