Lemur alone... she's trying to do the zoo weigh-in

THE job satisfaction is off the scale as a gang of ring-tailed lemurs help keeper Chelsea Reid-Johnson with the annual weigh-in at London Zoo.

The cheeky primates seem largely cooperative in the endeavour, one hopping gamely on to the scale as the keeper jots down the figures.

At one point one of them looms behind the platform, holding its claws up and giving a menacing stare as it appears to keep its companions in line yesterday.

Meanwhile, Humboldt penguins queue for their turn to flop on to a scale where they are rewarded with fish by a keeper bearing a penguin tattoo.
