Keep going! William's plea as homelessness project hits milestone

THE Prince of Wales has urged colleagues working on his ambitious drive to end homelessness to “keep going” as he prepares to mark a major milestone.

William said the scheme has started to “shift the dial” on the “mammoth challenge”. The Prince’s Homewards programme is said to be firmly in “delivery mode” as it marks its two-year anniversary.

To celebrate the milestone, Prince William will be in Sheffield tomorrow to unveil a new strand of work known as Upstream, which is focused on early intervention to tackle the root causes of homelessness.

The event will take place at a secondary school in the city.

The visit will also see the first residents move into homes delivered by Homewards through Sheffield’s Innovative Housing Project.
