JACK BACKED TO SHAKE OFF LATEST GAFFE

BARRY FERGUSON has been urged to focus on fixing flaws elsewhere before turning his attention to stuttering Rangers keeper Jack Butland.

Butland, below, was at fault again on Saturday night as his clanger helped put Dundee two goals up.

Ferguson's side recovered from the keeper's gaffe to edge a seven-goal thriller but Butland's performance has thrust the spotlight back on the Englishman.

With his weekend fumble coming just four weeks after a similar mistake against Motherwell, some fans and pundits question if he's still the right man to be the No.1.

However, the 32-year-old's saves were key to victories over Fenerbahce and Celtic and former Ibrox goalkeeper Cammy Bell insists Ferguson has bigger problems to address than the man between the sticks.

Bell said: "I've seen some suggesting Butland should be moved on this summer but that would be a big overreaction for me.
