Irish ace Kenny's ready for centre stage with Celts
Scottish Daily Express
|November 26, 2025
Kenny is out to make his mark at Parkhead and has grabbed his chance in recent weeks.
-
The youngster has notched five for the campaign including the opener in the Premier Sports Cup semifinal triumph against Rangers.
Celtic will be up against it in the Netherlands but Kenny is optimistic having been part of the Ireland squad that pulled a World Cup playoff out of the fire in such dramatic style.
Kenny said: “The Sturm Graz game I thought I should have scored and obviously I didn't want to go on a run of not scoring.
“Luckily it came the week after and since then I've got a few more and I just hope to get a lot more. You need to back yourself.
“Even going into the Ireland games, people probably thought we were going to get put out the door but, if we don't believe, nobody can believe and we did believe so you can just see what happens.”
