Heroes helped crash kids

TWO teenage heroes stepped in to help the three young children injured in a horrific road accident in Dumfries.

Charlie Jones and Andrew Clarke spoke about the event yesterday.

The friends, both 19, were on the way home to Cheshire after a camping trip in Scotland.

They were driving through Dumfries when they came across the aftermath of the accident, just after it happened.

The injured, aged eight months, 14 months and 18 months, were in a buggy being pushed by a girl, 18.

The buggy was crushed against a wall by a trailer which apparently became detached from an SUV.
