FBI decide who can watch US hearing
THE US Government is asking for bereaved relatives of Lockerbie victims to register with the FBI so they remotely access the trial of a Libyan man accused of carrying out the attack.
Abu Agila Mohamad Masud Kheir Al-Marimi is expected to appear in court next year. He had originally been due to stand trial in May.
But following a request from both the prosecution and defence, his case has been postponed until April.
A total of 270 people died as Pan Am flight 103 exploded over the Dumfries and Galloway town of Lockerbie on Wednesday, December 21, 1988.
