Time for Scots to finally end the All Blacks hoodoo

- BY STUART BATHGATE

DYNAMIC Darcy Graham reckons Scotland are now good enough to “go toe to toe” with any rugby team on the planet.

But he knows it will still take a colossal effort at Murrayfield on Saturday if his side are going to beat the All Blacks for the first time in their history.

It has been a case of close but no cigar for Scotland the last couple of times the teams met. They lost by five points in 2017 and then by eight in 2022.

Graham's side are arguably a better outfit than they were three years ago. But the Edinburgh winger, 28, is well aware that something special will be needed to get the better of New Zealand.

He said: “We can go toe to toe with anybody, but we need to be at our best for a full 80 minutes.
