CONFIDENCE IS SKY HIGH TO BEAT CELTIC, SAYS BARRON

CONNOR BARRON says Rangers are “massively confident” of beating Celtic at Hampden on Sunday.

The Ibrox side have a newfound belief after winning two Premiership games on the bounce under new boss Danny Rohl.

Rangers picked up victories over Kilmarnock and Hibs to take them up to third in the William Hill Premiership.

And Barron - who is suspended for the Premier Sports Cup semifinal - says they're now ready to see off their Old Firm rivals.

The midfielder - who was outstanding in the 1-0 win over Hibs on Wednesday night - admits the squad are in a far better place under German gaffer Rohl.

And Barron, below, is convinced his teammates can beat Celtic this weekend and take a huge step towards the first silverware of the season.

When asked how confident he was of Gers getting a result on Sunday, the 23-year-old said: "Of course, we're massively confident.
