Celebrity-backed investor battles to keep £4m home

AN entrepreneur whose company collapsed leaving celebrity investors owed a fortune is fighting to save his £4million home from being seized.
Ashley Reading, 55, ran investment firm Fortress Capital Partners alongside daughter Cam Reading, 25.
The business collapsed into administration in 2023.
Reportedly, the scheme’s investors included Boyzone star Shane Lynch and former Manchester United footballer Scott McTominay, the boyfriend of Ms Reading.
Around the same time, another company run by Mr Reading, Rose Cottage Farm Ltd, also got into trouble, failing to make payments on a £4million mansion which the entrepreneur had moved his family into.
