BRENDAN RODGERS says it was “truly special” to secure another five-star title clincher.
The Celtic manager wrapped up a fourth Premiership with his side’s thumping 5-0 win over Dundee United on Saturday.
Incredibly, Rodgers’ previous three successes were also sealed by 5-0 wins over Hearts in 2017, Rangers in 2018 and Kilmarnock last year.
Rodgers said: "Somebody mentioned that. It's nice and hopefully there's many more.
“It was a great performance. The team overall, they've turned up when they've needed to and, with the level of football we've played, it’s truly been a brilliant season for us in the league.
"So much hard work has gone in over the course of the season and no more so than playing against a tough team that don’t concede many goals. But to perform like that when it mattered was truly special.
