Scottish ace was on song last time and is relishing big clash

BOB MacINTYRE went from fear on the first tee to the joy of belting out The Proclaimers on the victory party bus on his Ryder Cup debut.
Now the world No.9 and US Open runner-up says he “can't wait” to get started at Bethpage Black.
The rookie Scot showed he was born to play the event as he went unbeaten with his chaper-one Justin Rose in two fourball matches in Rome two years ago and then won the final singles match in the 16.5-11.5 win. But
MacIntyre said: “My main feeling after was just relief. I probably was scared on the first tee because I don't know if it was a case of don't embarrass yourself, don't wanna let yourself down, don't wanna let people down.
“I hit it straight down the middle of the fairway, and it's just knowing that these feelings are because you care, because you love it, because it's a lifelong dream.
