From living in the bow-wow now to learning when to let go of the stick, social media sensation Peggy the Hairless Pug reveals how to live your best life, doggy style

Be pooch positive

We're a nation of dog lovers with around 12 million pet pooches padding around in the UK and 33% of households owning one. But not only are dogs our four-legged best friends, they can possibly also teach us how to live our lives well. Enter Peggy the Hairless Pug, who lives in Yorkshire with her humans.

In 2023 she won the title of UK's Ugliest Dog, and as a result now has more than 2.1 million followers online. Catching the eye of Hollywood directors, the seven-year-old follically challenged hound was cast in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Closer to home, earlier this week she was on ITV's This Morning too. Here she shares life lessons we could do well to learn from our pooches.
