OF all the 1990s pop stars I expected to turn up as a pathologist in a new detective drama, Peter Andre was so low on the list I'd have been less surprised to see the twins from B*Witched as the new hosts of MasterChef.
Andre, known more for his colourful personal life as the ex-husband of Katie Price than for his career, acquits himself rather well in THE SUNSHINE MURDERS: BURIED FAMILY SECRETS (5, 2.15pm). Filmed in sun-soaked Greece and Cyprus, it follows Greek detective Helen Moustakas (Dora Chrysikou), who’s busy busting crime when thanks to the fact his parents are Greek Cypriots. Could a serious acting career beckon for the Mysterious Girl hitmaker?
