Airport strikes loom for holidays as pay talks fail

FAMILIES jetting off for summer sun face the threat of strikes at Scotland’s main airports.
Baggage workers at Glasgow and Edinburgh hubs rejected a pay offer and it could spark unions balloting staff on strike action.
Around 600 workers at Menzies Aviation, who provide aircraft ground handling services at many of the major UK airports, have rejected two separate pay offers.
