Adults are neglecting oral health

HALF of adults are not taking proper care of their dental hygiene - with a fifth opting for a swig of mouthwash over brushing their teeth.

Of 2,000 adults, 45% do not floss, 41% brush just once a day and 12% have used their finger as a toothbrush in the past.

And nearly two in 10 brush for a minute or less. The recommended time is two minutes.
