Mastery High School of Camden and Camden Dream Center celebrate New Hydroponics Lab Classroom

Mastery Schools, the Camden Dream Center, the Food Bank of South Jersey, community partners, and students came together on Monday, May 5, 2025, for an official ribbon cutting to celebrate a new educational hydroponics lab at Mastery High School of Camden.

After the ribbon cutting, students and partners toured the classroom and checked on the growing progress of recently planted seedlings.
The newly updated classroom has a 26-student capacity and includes propagation racks, vertical hydroponic Fork Farm systems for growing, a double sink, moisture-resistant ceiling tiles, new lighting fixtures, prep tables, and workstations.
