On Saturday, August 16, 2025, along Cecil B. Moore Avenue at Broad Street, in the heart of North Philadelphia, the iconic daylong celebration paid tribute to the rich cultural legacy of the area.
Not just a Music and Arts Festival, Jazz on the Avenue is a free, family-friendly event with a 16-year history, bringing together thousands for a day full of live performances, health and wellness screenings, children's activities, local food and craft vendors, community resource partners, and vibrant cultural expression.
Christine Brown, Executive Producer of Jazz on the Avenue and Director of Beech Community Services, said, “The event has grown in size and scope, and the performances on both stages are equally as good.”
