There are moments in life when laughter does more than entertain-it heals.

A night of Hope, Healing, and Hilarity: The Promise Recovery Program's Night of Recovery at EBCC

On a powerful evening at Empowerment Bible Christian Center (EBCC), that truth came alive during The Promise Recovery Program's "Night of Recovery"—an unforgettable comedy event that blended purpose with pure joy.

This wasn't just another show. It was a movement. A gathering of hearts, humor, and hope, dedicated to those who are courageously walking the path of recovery from addiction. The vision behind this inspiring event came from a man who knows firsthand what it means to fight and win the battle—Mr. Michael Coley.

A Man on a Mission

Mr. Coley is not just a name, but a testimony. Having overcome addiction himself, he has turned his personal victory into a lifelong mission to help others find freedom, restoration, and purpose. With years of experience uplifting others and connecting them with vital resources, Mr. Coley has become a beacon of hope for those seeking a second chance at life.

Through The Promise Recovery Program, he and his team have been transforming lives in the Pennsauken and Camden County communities, offering not just recovery tools but also compassion, accountability, and faith-based support. The "Night of Recovery" was designed not only to raise funds for this vital program but also to raise spirits—and it did just that.

Laughter as Medicine

From the very beginning of the night, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, energy, and expectation. Brother Marcus—known for his powerful words of encouragement and inspiring presence—kicked off the evening with uplifting remarks that set the tone for what was to come.
