Teen racer makes history

Names such as Kelvin and Sheldon van der Linde, Tyler Robinson, Jordan Pepper, Ryan Naiker, Keagan Masters and Brad Binder regularly keep the flag flying around the globe.And if everything goes to plan, there may be another one in the wings.

Chloe Stuart, 16, has been making her mark since she first climbed in behind the wheel of a go-cart as a 7-year-old, spurred on by her father Barry, a former endurance kart racer.

Her early competitive career started in the SSS Prokart Midgets category before progressing through the F200 and F300 classes. In 2022, she finished third in the F300 Championship, marking her first significant national result in junior karting.

Her development during those formative years exposed her to different karting categories and race conditions, building experience that would support her transition into single-seater racing.
