Coffee leaves mum with throat 'burning from the inside out'

A SHOCKED mum was left with a horror red mark on her neck after drinking a scalding hot coffee.

Wendy Johnson, of Widnes, said she was “burned from the inside out,” after heating her drink up in the microwave.

Wendy decided to put her morning brew into the microwave for 40 seconds to warm it up, on Wednesday, April 30.

The 27-year-old gulped it down without realising how hot it was and felt like she’d been “stabbed in the chest.”
