IN a busy week, the Wids Annual Club Dinner took place last Friday night with ex-RL international and current Sky summariser Barry McDermott as guest speaker.
In front of a packed audience, McDermott entertained the attendees with his speech before handing out the awards for the evening.
Long serving scrum half Gavin Hatton picked up the Player of the Year award, whilst Charlie Feeley was selected as the Young Player of the Year in his first full season of open age rugby. Vinny Rowlands and Danny Owen picked up the POY awards for the Second and Third teams, and Rueben Mafi was chosen as the Colts player of the year.
Other awards went to Matty Lawton who picked up an Honours tie, and another youngster, Rio Hamlett was selected as the Clubman of the Year for his outstanding contribution.
