Suspect charged over house fire

A ROCHDALE man has been charged after a mother and daughter were badly burned in a devastating house fire.
The fire ripped through the house on Beverley Drive, in Bentilee - in December 2021.
The victims spent Christmas and New Year 2021 in hospital before finally being discharged.
Staffordshire Police have made 14 arrests as part of their investigations. One of the original suspects - a 19-year-old Oldham woman - had already been eliminated from the police probe.
Now 10 men are due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday, June 9. Seven of the men have been charged with attempted murder.
