Special on 41th years of hope, healing and disease prevention

The generous works done for humanity are always respected in society.

One such example is Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, Dhahan Kaleran whose establishment dates back to 17 April, 1984. The hospital has completed a successful journey of 41 years of excellent and affordable health care services

The founder of this hospital, popularly known as Baba Budh Singh Dhahan left his lavish life in Canada as he always had a dedicated mind to render services to render health & education services to the people of his motherland, Punjab.

When he returned back home with his mission, the caravan of Well-wishers and donors boosted his spirits. In 1979, along with 16 prominent personalities of the area, they passed a resolution and in 1981 Guru Nanak Mission Medical & Educational Trust Was established.

For this noble cause, Panchayat of village Dhahan donated 23 acres of land and Panchayat of village Kaleran donated 7 acres of land. Later, trustees, local & foreign donors and family members started donating money for the construction of hospital building. On 27 September, 1981 the foundation of hospital was laid down by great social worker of the times, Bhagat Puran Singh, from Pingalwara
