Dhanna Singh Grewal, state vice president of the Congress Party's Kisan Wing Punjab, said ,"He strongly condemned the central government's blatant disregard for the urgent and legitimate demands of the protesting students of Panjab University.
He accused the government of deliberately delaying the university's Senate elections, which is creating resentment on the campus.
