Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with the Indian diaspora in Johannesburg was an unforgettable and deeply spiritual moment.
As he stepped into the foyer of the Sandton Hotel, he was welcomed with the serene vibration of Aum, followed by a soulful Ganapathi Prarthna. Modi ji paused with reverence as children rendered the chants with angelic devotion, concluding with the calming Aum Sahana Vavatu Shanti Mantra.
He spent time engaging warmly with the children, appreciating their sincere recitation and enquiring about their gurus, their training, and the diverse sampradayas they represented. He blessed them individually, pleased to hear that they came from various schools of thought— standing together as one united Hindu community.
