There's nothing like your children ruining a good day out!

Modern life and technology isn't making things any easier for us

I always thought it would get easier as they get older. It doesn't. I've come to the conclusion I can no longer take them out together on my own, they just seem to turn into.....well, I don't think that word can be printed here.

They bickered in the car on the way to a Christmas lights display. Then after they were told off, they started mucking about and making lots of noise. They were told off again.

By the time we arrived, I was frazzled. As we walked round, they ran off. I caught up with them to find Freddie on the floor in the food outlet area crying. His sister had kicked him in the shin.
