Ex-Pompey youngster Sam leaves Robins after boss' astonishing rant

Sam Magri has left Bracknell Town in the wake of a remarkable post-match rant from manager Matt Saunders.
The onetime Pompey youngster only joined the Berkshire club in the summer after helping AFC Totton win promotion from the Southern League Premier South via the playoffs.
But his time at Bottom Meadow is over after just eight appearances, his departure announced in a curt 18-word sentence on a club statement.
Magri, 31, didn't feature in Monday's 2-0 home loss to lofty Gloucester that left Bracknell rock bottom of the Premier South table with just one win from 10 seventh tier matches.
Both the Tigers' goals came in the final 10 minutes, leading to an astonishing interview with Saunders that has subsequently gone viral.
In the video, uploaded to the official Bracknell X page and which has been viewed more than seven million times, Saunders laid the blame firmly at his senior players' door - saying they weren't fit, literally, for purpose.
