During their short initial run, King was Belly's second, and - for 23 years - final album.
It's failure to live up to the commercial success of their debut and internal strife triggered a breakup. But the Rhode Island indie-rockers mounted a comeback in 2016 - and that belated third album, Dove, followed two years later. And now they return to Portsmouth for a tour to mark 30 years of King. There's no support tonight-just Belly playing King in order and then a second set of the best of the rest.
