Mukhethwa Tshifura, a former learner of Laerskool Pietersburg Noord (Noordskool) and HTS Tom Naudé, sprinted to victory at the SuperSport Schools Athletics 2026 event, winning the men's 60m race in 06:56 seconds to claim the Simbine Curro Classic Shootout title.
Now a student at University of Pretoria (Tuks), Tshifura delivered a standout performance at the prestigious meeting held at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria on February 13-14.
