Schools body joins G20-level discussions on basic education

The Association of School Governing Bodies (ASGB) in Limpopo has welcomed the rare opportunity to take part in G20-level discussions on the state of basic education in the province.
This follows the G20 Education Provincial Indaba held at The Ranch Resort near Polokwane, where the Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba led over 300 delegates. The gathering brought together education stakeholders, including local and international experts and senior government officials, to reflect on two major focus areas: quality foundational learning and the professional development of teachers in a rapidly changing world.
