String Quartet is always a pleasure

It is always a considerable pleasure to hear the Resol String Quartet, be it either for Perth Chamber Music in St John’s or in Perth Concert Hall.

This time new sonorities were added to their Lunchtime Concert by the addition of up-and-coming guitarist Ross Morris. Already internationally known he joined in works by Boccherini, Sergio Assad and Castelnuovo-Tedesco.

The Boccherini was the final movement of his Quintet in D, G448-a Grave assai followed by a wild Fandango.
