A survey to gauge support for the extension of Pitlochry Recreation Ground's skatepark has been launched.

- STAFF REPORTER

A group of parents have put forward the proposal to enhance the existing facility to enable people of all abilities and ages - and on all sorts of wheels - can use the space.

The survey is open for comments until 7pm today (Friday).

Pitlochry All Wheels (PAW), working in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) and with support from Pitlochry Community Action Trust (PCAT) and the Pavilion Users Group (PUG), is working on a design to create a larger, more versatile facility that would include fun features that could be used by cyclists, skaters, skateboarders, scooters, balance bikes and wheelchair sports. There could also be a multi-purpose flat pad designed for those just starting out on wheels and for activities such as skipping, basketball and netball.
