Airbnb licence greenlit
Perthshire Advertiser
|October 03, 2025
Perth and Kinross Council has agreed to let holiday guests chat in an Airbnb's garden until 10pm after an applicant's lawyer claimed the current 9pm curfew was"a bit extreme".
-
On Monday, September 29 PKC's Licensing Committee unanimously agreed to grant a three-year short-term let licence a house on a Perthshire housing estate.
Applicant Keliane Pereira was previously granted a three-year short-term let licence as an existing host living at the Huntingtower Speckle Road address but sought permission to now let the property as a secondary let.
The additional conditions previously attached to the short-term let licence stated: “Outdoor areas are not to be used by short-term let guests for the purpose of social gatherings after 9pm on each day; the hot tub must not be used by guests after 9pm and there will be no amplified music to be played after 9pm.”
PKC received three letters of objection to the latest application.
At Monday's meeting, neighbour Mrs Barron told councillors there had been a “number of occasions" where guests had not abided the 9pm curfew.
