Warning for drivers over bridge closure

The Erskine Bridge is to close northbound for a full weekend as £100,000 improvement works get underway.

The carriageway will be shut from 8pm on Friday, July 11, until 6am on Monday, July 14.

Southbound, the bridge will be reduced to one lane.

The southbound sliproads from the A82 will be closed from 8pm to 6am on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13.

Motorway traffic looking to use the Erskine Bridge will instead be diverted over the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow city centre.
