Teenager charged in connection with bus incident at Braehead

A teenager has been charged after a sickening video captured the moment a bus driver was allegedly racially abused by a gang of youths.
On Tuesday, October 14, around 7pm, a McGill's bus driver was terrorised by a group of youngsters at Braehead Shopping Centre bus station who allegedly shouted racist language.
Passengers on the bus who tried to intervene were also reportedly spat on. Officers from Police Scotland have now confirmed that a 15-year-old boy has been charged following a report of racial abuse and assault. Enquiries are continuing and a report has been submitted to the relevant authorities.
