Renfrewshire Council has extended the deadline of a consultation seeking feedback from parents and carers on their future childcare and nursery needs.

- JACK THOMSON, LOCAL DEMOCRACY REPORTER

The survey - aimed at those with children up to the age of 14 - was initially due to close at the end of September but will now run until Monday, October 13.

It includes questions on nursery and childminding provision, out-of-school care and school holiday childcare.

The exercise is open to anyone expecting their first child or planning to become parents as well as those who currently use the services.
