Proud Buddies demand better

Anti-poverty campaigners from Paisley will this month demand better for Renfrewshire families when they take part in a march on the capital.

Members of the Star Project - which seeks to combat the causes and affects of poverty - will join activists from across the country in a rally that demands a better deal for ordinary people.

The rally, which is expected to attract crowds of up to 5,000 people, will convene outside the Scottish Parliament before making its way through the city.
