Politician welcomes airport investment

The planned multi-million pound investment into Glasgow Airport has been welcomed by MP Alison Taylor.

The MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire North said the investment would bolster its position as a gateway for trade for West and Central Scotland.
AviAlliance, which recently acquired Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton airports, last week unveiled plans for a £350million investment in all three locations.
For the Paisley transport hub, the money will be used to overhaul the main terminal and secure the sustainability of the airport.
