The Erskine school got four very good grades for leadership of change, learning, teaching and assessment, ensuring wellbeing, equality and inclusion, and raising attainment and achievement.

The report praised the exceptional leadership in the school from the head teacher and her deputy.

Inclusion and equality for all was said to be at the heart of everything the school does, resulting in positive and respectful relationships throughout and a shared sense of belonging with the community. While it continued by saying children are friendly, happy, knowledgeable and able to learn independently.

Youngsters are recognised and celebrated as individuals by staff and their unique voices are central to all aspects of school life.

They are making excellent progress in both learning and personal achievements.

Rachael Clark, head teacher of Rashielea Primary, said: “We are delighted to receive such a positive HMIE inspection report that genuinely reflects our school’s vibrant, inclusive, and caring community.
