Neilston grab West of Scotland League's Second Division title

Andy Whiteford admits Neilston’s West of Scotland League Second Division title success was an emotional one.
The Farmer's Boys were celebrating on Saturday night after a 2-0 win over Yoker Athletic at Holm Park clinched the crown.
It means the Brig O'Lea boys have bounced back at the first attempt following last season's relegation.
And gaffer Whiteford revealed some of the players battled on through family heartache to get the villagers back into the First Division.
He said: “It was tough adapting to life in Division Two after the previous season's relegation as we began with a 6-0 defeat at Larkhall Thistle.
“But we learned how to cope in the division, and had sticky spells which included four successive draws recently, but we got over the line.
“It's been an emotional season as some of the players have lost family members and we are so glad to get the title as we deserve it.
