A contract for the replacement of a cycle hub and toilet facility at Castle Semple Country Park in Lochwinnoch has been given the go ahead by Renfrewshire councillors.
Elected members have approved a recommendation to award a deal for the project, which includes demolishing the existing rundown block, to Clark Contracts.
The move was given the green light at the local authority's finance, resources and customer services policy board on Thursday, with work expected to begin in early September and last around three months.
Councillor Chris Gilmour, a Labour representative for the village, said at the meeting: "I'm obviously glad to see this is going ahead.
