Saints Women maintain winning streak after Cambusdoon comeback as Adebo shines again

St Mirren Women made it four league victories on the trot as they bounced back from their Scottish Cup exit.

The Buddies ran out 2-1 winners after coming from behind against Cambusdoon at Mossedge Village on Sunday - with Praise Adebo scoring and also assisting Leah Logan.

It was not only the win that pleased head coach Kate Cooper, whose side move up to fifth place in the Barclays League One table, but the attitude and performance from her players who responded positively following defeat to Queen of the South.

"It's really important that we can keep that winning streak going and we're just starting to build up that momentum," Cooper told Express Sport.

"I think we've got ourselves up into that top five now so it's just really important that we keep doing the work, keep it going and stay in that top five.
