“These forms would be processed by a staff member who would count out the cash from the fund and make up the envelopes for the accused with the money inside.

“The accused stated she would take the envelopes and deliver them to the Richmond Fellowship where the four named persons would collect the money from.

“This occurred on a weekly basis with the accused every Thursday asking the staff member for the ‘usual four!

“There would be, at times, one-off payments made in addition to the regular weekly payments.”

The court heard that, on October 22, 2018, the then chief executive officer of the charity, Julie Marshall, began a “compliance check” to ensure staff had the relevant qualifications for their roles.
