A year on...and it's been a disaster

It's been a year since Sir Keir Starmer moved into Downing Street and even the most ardent Labour politician - if they were being honest - would admit that he's been a disaster for our country.

A year on...and it's been a disaster

He was just a few weeks into the job when it was revealed that he's incapable of dressing himself-with a rich crony gifting him clothes worth £16,000.

This grasping behaviour earned the millionaire ex-lawyer the nickname of 'free gear' Keir which provided some light relief.

But much less amusing has been Labour's catastrophic financial harm on our great nation.

Prior to the General Election, Labour peddled scare stories falsely accusing the Conservatives of planning to axe the winter fuel payment for pensioners.

They accompanied this brazen lie with the claim that stopping it would result in the premature deaths of thousands of elderly people.

But as soon as Sir Keir got his feet under the desk, he then callously withdrew the universal winter fuel payment.
