Stalker with 'unhealthy obsession' for victim sent her messages about arson

A STALKER from Skelmersdale sent his victim article links about arson after setting his ex-girlfriend's house on fire, a court has heard.
Court
Thomas Heslip, of Liverpool Road, Skelmersdale, pleaded guilty to stalking and invoking fear of violence on October 13 2025 after sending countless Facebook messages to his victim. He also sent her a letter whilst he was serving in a Preston prison for his previous harassment conviction.
At his sentencing at Preston Crown Court, the court heard how Facebook messages included links to articles about arson.
Heslip, 29, had sent her a link to an article in The Guardian about an MP's office being set on fire, as well as an article about a mosque that had been set on fire in Sussex.
