SMPB’s 5-yr vision plan gets approval

With an aim to strengthen conservation, cultivation, and commercialisation of medicinal plants across the state, a five-year vision plan of State Medicinal Plants Board (SMPB) received formal approval from the executive body during its 6th executive body meeting here Thursday.
MoUs in this regard will be signed in November with FRLHT (Bangalore), IRMA (Anand), and MSSRF (Chennai) to strengthen technical collaboration and the products developed under the initiative will be marketed
